Reclaimed history - “a century-old rail shed reborn”
A once-crumbling century-old Palmwoods bank of railway sheds has been masterfully resurrected as a rustic haven for dining, functions, and vintage retail, epitomising the art of recycling and preservation. The daunting seven-year restoration transformed a structure many deemed 'too far gone' into a gem that both celebrates and retains its history. Salvaged materials, including timbers and weatherboards, were meticulously integrated, ensuring the building's spirit lives on. Today, the reborn edifice stands as a testament to the enduring power of community passion, dedication, and a commitment to sustainable restoration in a modern age.
